How to Get the Perfect Tan with Our Mousse

1. Prep Your Skin

Exfoliate and shave before application. Avoid razors with moisture strips, as they can cause streaks.
Clean and dry skin is essential—skip lotion, perfume, or oils prior to application.
Apply a tiny amount of moisturizer to dry areas before application such as knuckles, cuticles, heels, knees, and elbows. This creates a barrier that helps prevent over-absorption on small, dry areas and ensures a more even tan.

2. Apply the Mousse

Use a mitt or blending brush in long, circular motions for even coverage.
Do not worry if the mousse looks streaky during application. What you are seeing is bronzer. The bronzer rinses off and DHA develops over 24 hours for your final color.
Allow the mousse to dry for a few minutes before dressing and wear loose, dark clothing.
For best results, apply 48 hours before a big event.

3. Small Areas (Hands, Feet, Knees, Elbows)

Apply a pea-sized amount per area and blend thoroughly.
Lightly buff these areas with the clean side of your mitt or a dry brush to soften color and prevent dark patches.

4. Customize Your Color

Rinse in 2–4 hours for a soft, natural glow.
Leave on up to 8 hours for a deeper, more intense bronze.
Safe to sleep in for the ultimate overnight tan.

5. First Shower and Aftercare

For your first shower, rinse with water only—no soap.
Gently pat skin dry—do not rub—then moisturize to extend your tan.
After every shower, moisturize to lock in hydration and keep your tan looking fresh.
Soap can be used starting with your second shower.

6. Pro Tips for a Flawless Tan

Wipe palms with a baby wipe or damp cloth after application.
Slightly bend joints (knees, elbows, wrists, ankles) during application to avoid creases.
Avoid heavy workouts, sweating, or steam for the first 24-48 hours.
Do not use exfoliating scrubs until ready for your tan to fade.
Moisturize daily to maintain your tan.
For a deeper color, apply a second layer 8–12 hours later, always starting with a light base.

Extra Tip: Check your hands, feet, and elbows before bed and lightly buff any areas that look darker for the most natural result.
