Pre & Post Care Guide

Follow the pre-care and aftercare instructions below to help maintain your lash lift and tint results and keep your natural lashes looking their best.

LASH LIFT PRE-CARE

24–48 HOURS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Avoid using lash growth serums, oils, or heavy eye creams directly around the lash line.

  • Avoid using an eyelash curler.

  • If you have recently had eyelash extensions removed, allow your natural lashes time to recover before scheduling your lash lift.

THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT

Please arrive with your lashes completely clean and free of mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, and oils.

  • Do not use an eyelash curler before your appointment.

  • Remove contact lenses before your service if they make your eyes feel sensitive during treatments.

  • Let your esthetician know about any recent eye irritation or sensitivity.

LASH LIFT + TINT PRE-CARE

If you are receiving a lash lift with tint, the same preparation guidelines apply.

Because lash tint is applied close to the eye area, clean lashes are especially important for achieving an even, beautiful result.

Please avoid:

  • Mascara before your appointment

  • Waterproof eye makeup

  • Oil-based eye products

  • Lash serums immediately before your appointment

  • Eyelash curlers

LASH LIFT POST-CARE

FIRST 24 HOURS

Your lashes are still settling after the lifting process, so proper aftercare is important.

For the first 24 hours:

  • Keep lashes dry.

  • Avoid steam, saunas, swimming, and excessive sweating.

  • Avoid hot showers directly on your face and eye area.

  • Do not use mascara.

  • Avoid rubbing, touching, or pressing on your lashes.

  • Avoid sleeping directly on your face if possible.

  • Avoid oil-based products around the eye area.

  • Do not use an eyelash curler after your lash lift. Your lashes have already been chemically lifted, and using a mechanical curler can place unnecessary stress on the lashes and potentially cause breakage or damage.

AFTER 24 HOURS

Once your 24-hour aftercare period has passed, you can return to your normal routine.

For longer-lasting results:

  • Gently cleanse your lashes daily.

  • Avoid excessive rubbing or pulling on the lashes.

  • Keep oil-heavy products away from the lash line when possible.

  • Condition your natural lashes with a professional-recommended lash-safe product.

  • Brush lashes gently with a clean spoolie as needed.

LASH LIFT + TINT POST-CARE

If you received a lash lift and tint, follow the same lash lift aftercare guidelines above.

Your lash tint will gradually soften and fade naturally as your lashes go through their normal growth cycle.

To help maintain your results:

  • Avoid unnecessary rubbing around the eyes.

  • Use gentle, lash-safe cleansers.

  • Minimize prolonged exposure to oil-heavy products around the lash line.

  • Avoid picking or pulling at your lashes as the tint fades.

HOW OFTEN CAN I GET A LASH LIFT OR LASH TINT?

A professional lash lift typically lasts approximately 6–8 weeks, depending on your natural lash growth cycle, hair characteristics, lifestyle, and aftercare.

For the health and integrity of your natural lashes, lash lifts should be spaced approximately 6–8 weeks apart.

If you feel your lash tint has faded sooner and you would like to refresh the color, a tint touch-up may be performed sooner than your next lash lift, when appropriate.

Your lash lift and tint do not necessarily need to be repeated on the same schedule. Your lift may still have beautiful shape and curl while the tint has begun to fade.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your lashes may appear more lifted, curled, and defined immediately after your appointment. Over time, individual lashes will naturally grow out and return to their original position as part of the normal lash cycle.

A lash lift enhances your natural lashes without extensions, creating a polished, low-maintenance appearance.

A lash lift with tint combines the lifted effect with temporary color, helping your natural lashes appear darker and more defined without mascara.

Results vary from person to person.
